Miguel Nunez, Investigator/Youth Advocate

Miguel Nunez is a native of Atlanta, GA and New Orleans, LA having grown up in both places. He went to college at The University of Texas with a major in Electrical Engineering. After leaving college, Miguel began working in the private security sector as an executive bodyguard for various famous and high profile actors, entertainers, musicians, political activists, etc. From there, Miguel helped to start a private investigative firm that handled adult criminal defense investigation for various criminal court districts in Georgia. During the aftermath of Katrina, Miguel devoted over a year of service to helping residents return home to New Orleans by helping organize the resident led organization: The New Orleans Survivor Council. This groups’ mission was to find survivors wherever they were and help get them back home by providing housing, health care, educational needs, and employment opportunities to residents who were on the bottom of society. Currently, Miguel works with JRS as a Defense Investigator/Youth Advocate.
