Who We Are
JRS are the public defenders at Orleans Parish Juvenile Court. We were awarded a contract by Orleans Public Defenders Board of Directors to represent youth in delinquency and FINS cases. We represent all indigent youth in Orleans Parish. In addition to accepting appointments on new cases, we accepted representation of all youth that were previously represented by Orleans Indigent Defender Program.
JRS incorporates a holistic approach to defending children in delinquency proceedings. Some of the services we provide include:
